Oaklands Swimming Pool

At full Council on 12 September Councillors voted to withdraw the annual subsidy from Oaklands swimming pool.

The swimming pool, which has been closed since earlier this summer due to maintenance issues, will not reopen unless an alternative management arrangement is found.

The Council is currently working with a number of community groups who may wish to open the pool independently of the Council. However, the swimming pool remains closed whilst we are investigating these options.
