Food on the table
Apart from the city centre Southampton has a number of smaller shopping centres dotted around the city and most areas have at the very least a parade of shops.
The main shopping areas outside of the city centre are:
Bitterne village
Bitterne Triangle
Lordshill
Portswood
Shirley
and Woolston
All of these shopping centres have a variety of smaller shops and supermarkets offering quite a wide range products for sale.
If you want fresh local produce why not visit Southampton's regular farmers market.
