Housing Strategy 2003-2007
The Housing Strategy is an overarching strategy which sets out the council's priorities to meet local housing needs and aspirations thereby contributing to the overall long-term aim to improve the quality of life for all citizens in Southampton. These priorities are translated into a series of targets and actions.
HRA Business Plan 2003
This is Southampton's second HRA Business Plan produced as part of the Housing Improvement Programme (HIP) submission. It sets out plans for the HRA housing stock over a 5, 9 and 30-year timeframe to enable us to track our progress against the decent homes standard and respond to longer term investment needs.

Housing Strategy for Older People 2003-2007
The City wishes to meet the housing aspirations of older people living in Southampton and is committed to ensuring that they have decent homes to live in which will enable them to secure and maintain their independence.
Food Law Enforcement Service Plan
Strategic Plans: Food Law Enforcement Service Plan - Its purpose is to set out the Council's commitment to ensuring high standards of food safety in the City through delivery to a set of clear aims, strategic planning and enforcement of relevant legislation and standards.
Housing Strategy for Learning Disability
The Southampton Learning Disability Partnership Board is developing a plan. This is called a Housing and Support Options Strategy. It says what we need to do to make sure people have choice and when and how we are going to do it .

People Strategy 2005-2008
The Human Resources Division reviews its strategy on an annual basis, taking into account internal and external business drivers and the resources the Division has available. It is the responsibility of the Organisational Development function to develop the HR strategy, in consultation with relevant stakeholders both within and outside the Division.
Neighbourhood Renewal
Neighbourhood Renewal work with communities and partners to 'bridge the gap' of disadvantage faced by those communities in Southampton who experience varying degrees of deprivation and social exclusion.

The Old Town Development Strategy affects a major city centre character area, the old town. All development proposals in the area must consider this design guidance.
