Universal Credit - Rent changes

If you are getting Universal Credit (UC) and your rent charge changes, you must inform Universal Credit about the change directly.

Failure to let Universal Credit know about a change to your housing costs may mean you are over/underpaid benefit.

The council will not let Universal Credit know about a change to your rent (or any other changes).

You can report a change to Universal Credit by signing in to your UC account.
