Consultation on admission arrangements for community and voluntary controlled schools 2020-21
The Local Authority is the admission authority for Community and Voluntary Controlled schools and every year has to determine the arrangements for those schools. The term admission arrangements covers every aspect of the admissions process not just the oversubscription criteria. This includes the numbers of children to be admitted to a school.
The LA is proposing changes to the oversubscription criteria for schools and for other aspects of the admission arrangements.
Formal consultation on the LA’s admission arrangements will run from Thursday 1 November 2018 until 13 December 2018.
