Woolston Community Centre is a council run day service for adults (aged 18 and over) with learning disabilities, physical disabilities or mental health issues.

We are committed to providing services that focus on a person's individual needs and we aim to be flexible and innovative in our approach.

We are equipped to deal with many disabilities already, as we have accessible toilets, sensory rooms and highly trained staff with years of experience in care.

We have a number of regularly arranged activities, as well as special one off events tailored to our service users. The only limit is your imagination! These activities include:

  • Art and crafts
  • Day trips
  • Trampolining
  • Football
  • Zumba
  • Athletics
  • Cinema club
  • Bike riding
  • Lunch club
  • Gardening
  • Anything else you can think of...

You can see all the exciting activities that local residents have taken part in by looking at our past quarterly newsletters, which cover lots of events that have taken place at both Woolston Community Centre and Sembal House.

On top of all these great activities Woolston Community Centre can offer a cafe, work experience and lots of volunteering options if you are looking to get involved in volunteer work.

In order to use Woolston Community Centre, you will need to be referred by your care manager, however you can pay to attend a variety of our activities.

If you wish to find out more information you can contact the centre on 023 8083 4750.
