Making sure your kids are active every day

The Golden Mile is a safe, simple and measurable health and physical activity initiative accessible to all age groups regardless of ability.

We aim to inspire and encourage your school community through physical activity with the focus on fun, rewarding personal achievement, raising money and school competition.

Your interactive School and class pages will do the rest and convert laps into Miles and display the pupil’s progress via graphs, league tables.

We encourage class teachers to champion and take ownership of their class progress along with the pupils. As soon as you register your school the class competitions can begin!

Health Education by young people for young people

The Youth Health Champions programme is the result of a partnership between Southampton City Council, No Limits and LifeLab from Southampton University and the University Hospital Trust.

The programme develops peer mentors which harnesses the natural enthusiasm of young people to lead in peer to peer education on lifestyle related health. It’s a level 2 certificate awarded by the RSPH (Royal Society for Public Health) comparable to a GCSE (13 credits).

If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity please get in touch with Kath Woods-Townsend.
