If you want to set up in self employment we can help! This month we are running special information sessions for council tenants interested in becoming entrepreneurs to help you turn your business idea into a reality.
From hairdressing to graphic design, book keeping to dog grooming; whatever business you want to establish we can help you every step of the way and provide personal support for the first two years of your business.
Free self-employment information sessions will take place:
- Monday 18 June, Shirley Library, 10:30am – 2pm
- Tuesday 19 June, Townhill Park Community Centre, 9am – 12:30pm
- Wednesday 20 June, Northam Community Centre, 10am – 1pm
Pop into your nearest session to meet business experts and receive free advice and support about how to set up a successful business. You can also find out about how to access funding for training.
You can chat with experts from Job Centre Plus, Federation of Small Businesses and the Employment Support Team and find out more about Radian Housing’s Self Employment Course. This free course covers what life is like being your own boss, managing your finances, legalities, tax and insurance and how to create a viable business plan so you can learn step by step how to get your business off the ground, get it running smoothly and how to plan for the future.
