    Biography:

    Cllr Sarah Bogle is Cabinet Member for Economic Development and has represented the ever-changing Bargate (city centre) ward since 2006.  Her current responsibilities include some of the key levers of economic development: apprenticeships and adult learning, planning, property, business support and Solent Freeport (she is on the board).

    She currently works at the University of Southampton working with academics to exchange knowledge and develop impact of Social Sciences research in the world outside academia.  Her earlier career was spent in manufacturing logistics, then project and change management.  She is focused on achieving sustainable and more inclusive growth that helps realise more of the potential of the people and the city of Southampton.
