It was noted that no apologies or absence had been received.

To approve and sign as a correct record the Minutes of the meeting of the Chief Officer Employment Panel held on Tuesday 11^th June 2013 and to deal with any matters arising, attached.

RESOLVED that the minutes of the meeting of the Chief Officer Employment Panel held on 11^th June, 2013 be approved and signed as a correct record.

Chair to move that in accordance with the Council's Constitution, specifically the Access to Information Procedure Rules contained within the Constitution, the press and public be excluded from the meeting in respect of the following item.

To consider the confidential report of the Head of legal, HR and Democratic Services concerning the appointment to the position of Chief Executive and Head of Paid Service, attached.

The confidential report of the Head of legal, HR and Democratic Services was submitted concerning the appointment to the position of Chief Executive and Head of Paid Service for the Council (copy of report circulated with the agenda and appended to signed minutes).

RESOLVED that full Council be recommended to appoint interview candidate Dawn Baxendale to the position of Chief Executive and Head of Paid Service, from the short list of candidates presenting for interview.
