The consultation process has consisted of letters, emails, school newsletters, school notice boards and school websites. Face to face meetings were also held with relevant stakeholders (Parents, children and schools)

Consultees included schools, parents, children, National Deaf Children's Society, Department of Education. Councillor Paffey, Democratic Services, Legal and Finance departments will be briefed prior to and decisions being made
