Tony Bunday has lived in Bitterne Park since 1998 and Southampton since 1976.  Originally a local manager of health and social care, and criminal justice services, he has more recently managed his own business and been an inspector with the Care Quality Commission.

He is committed to the environment and our green spaces and is active in local conservation organisations.  He is committed to enhancing the life chances of young people and to this end is a local school governor and a mentor at Solent University. He is committed to making our city as safe as it can be and stood to be our Police and Crime Commissioner in 2021.  He wants to ensure all have access to the prosperity, opportunities, and services that this great city can offer.  He sits on the Children’s and the Adult services scrutiny committees and is the Councils representative on the Hampshire and IOW Fire and Rescue Authority.
