    Lisa Mitchell was first elected in 2018 as Councillor for Portswood ward.  Originally from the North-East, she came to work in Southampton in 2013 after attending university at Queen Mary University of London. 

     

    Lisa currently works in Alan Whitehead’s office, where she campaigns on fairer housing and further education.  She’s also interested in widening participation in the arts and culture.

     

    In her spare time, Lisa is a trustee at Southampton Women’s Aid, and a member of Next Generation Martial Arts Gym
