The Chapels - East and West

We have two chapels, both of which have a dedicated chapel attendant, who will be on hand to ensure your service runs smoothly. The East Chapel can accommodate approximately 126 seated and for services where larger numbers are expected we can arrange an outside speaker broadcast.

The West Chapel is suited for the smaller and more intimate ceremony and can accommodate approximately 45 seated. Both chapels have their own car parks and waiting rooms and are fitted with induction loops for those guests who are hard of hearing.

There is a hot drinks vending machine situated in the East Chapel waiting room and a cold water dispenser in the West Chapel waiting room. Toilet facilities, including accessible and baby changing are on the East Chapel side of the building

Garden of Remembrance

The Garden of Remembrance is open between 8am and 8pm and the Book of Remembrance is open between 9am and 5pm throughout the year and staff are available to help with enquiries between 8:30am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday. Southampton Crematorium has a central location and is easily accessible whether you are arriving by public transport, car or plane.

If you have any specific needs, or religious requirements please inform the staff before the service and we will be happy to try and meet your needs and help you through this difficult time.
