Why choose Southampton for your ceremony?

Southampton, whilst a vibrant and modern city, never forgets its role in history.

Southampton's most important historic building, the 15th century timber-framed Tudor House Museum, gives a unique insight into the lives and times of its residents though the years, and close by is the beautiful Westgate Hall, a Tudor merchant hall now used for events of all kinds.

We are fortunate to have a rich cultural heritage led by the SeaCity museum, housed in the Civic Centre, which tells the story of the people of the city and their links to the Titanic and the sea.

As well as the annual International Boat Show, held here in September, Southampton is one of the busiest cruise ports in Europe.

St Mary's Stadium is home to an excellent football club and the city is one of the most important retail hubs of the South.

Medieval WallsSouthampton Registration Service is fortunate to be located in a beautiful old building located in Bugle Street, part of the Medieval 'French Quarter' of the city.

The building is the location of our two ceremony rooms: The Golden Jubliee Room and The Magnolia Room.

Whichever venue you choose, we will help to make your special day one which you will remember forever.

'The service that was received was exceptional; thank you so much.

Our Registrar was warm and reassuring, he did a reading for us and it was really special.

Thank you to all the staff at Bugle Street for making our day so special.'
