Arranging a site inspection visit
You can download the free Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Inspection Request app. This gives you the option of requesting your site inspection via your smart phone or mobile device at a time convenient to you.
Step 1: Download the free app to your smart phone or mobile device
Step 2: Register your details on the app
Step 3: Select ‘Southampton City and Eastleigh Borough Council’ and enter your inspection request
Step 4: Once you have completed your inspection request you will receive email confirmation. The building control team will also be notified and respond to your request

You can contact Building Control Surveyors who can normally be contacted direct between 8:30am and 10:15am Monday to Friday. A duty Building Control Surveyor is normally available each weekday afternoon 3pm-5pm (4:30pm on Fridays).
