Our libraries will be closed on Friday 18 and Monday 21 April. We will be open as normal on Saturday 19 April

May Bank Holidays
Our libraries will be closed on Monday 5 and 26 May. We will be open as normal on Saturday 3 and 24 May.

Woolston Library services and activities

1. Services

2. Activities for children under 5

  • Story-time - Tuesdays 10.15-10.45am (term time only - there will be no storytime sessions during the school holidays)

3. Other activities

 
Reading Groups - all groups meet at Woolston Library

  • 'Livres de Femmes' Book Group. 
    They meet the 2nd Wednesday of the month, from 6.00pm.  Come along to enjoy stimulating discussions about popular fiction while indulging in tempting treats and beverages, all for FREE!Please contact alison.schoenberg@southampton.gov.uk

  • Fectious Fiction (term time only - there will be no meetings during the school holidays)
    A book club for children aged 10-12. We meet on the third Friday of each month from 4-5pm in the children's library. Meeting dates: 19 July, 20 September, 18 October, 15 November

  • The Mid-Day Murder Club
    A crime reading group which meets the 1st Monday of the month 12.00-1.00pm.  

  • Film Fanatics - a new discussion group especially for the enthusiastic film watcher. Join us the last Wednesday of each month at Woolston library 6.00-6.45pm Refreshments provided.

  • Knitting Group - enjoy good company, a cuppa and a chat. Share your knitting skills and ideas with others. Wool and needles provided or you can bring your own. All knitters and learners welcome.
