Love Where You Live

Look out for free, family fun community events in council neighbourhoods this summer

You’ll be able to bring the whole family along for a fun day out and tell us how we can make your local area an even better place to live.

It’s all part of our Love Where You Live campaign, which we launched to help us work closer with local communities in order to tackle neighbourhood issues, so that even more people can feel proud of their local area.

So come along to your local event and join in family friendly activities and games, find out more about various council services at our information stalls and tuck into free food and refreshments. You’ll also be able to chat with council staff, raise any concerns about your local neighbourhood and suggest ideas for improvements.

Tell us what we need to do to make you love your neighbourhood even more and we’ll look in to making that happen. From tackling graffiti, stamping down on fly tipping, cutting the grass more often or providing activities to improve wellbeing. We need to know what you think so that we can work with local people and council teams to make any improvements needed.
