Guidance creating and managing your Citizen Portal account
You will need an email address to register with the online system.
Common login issues
An account already exists for your email address
Your email address has already been registered, maybe for another child. Follow the 'Forgotten your password?' option to reset your account.
Your username or password is invalid
If you created an account to apply for a school place before September 2015, you will need to create a new account with the Citizen Portal.
If you have an account for MySouthampton, housing rent online, or for our e-store payments system, you will still need to register separately with the Citizen Portal.
Passwords are case sensitive. Please try turning Caps Lock on or off. If this does not help, try the 'Forgotten your password?' option to reset your account.
You have forgotten your password
Try the 'Forgotten your password?' option to reset your account.
You've registered but it says your account is not valid
A confirmation email will be sent to you when you register with the Citizen Portal. You will need to validate your email address by visiting the link in the email. This will activate your account and you will be able to log in.
If you cannot find your confirmation email, please check your spam or junk folders.
