Potters Court takes shape

Helping more people to live independently at home for as long as possible is one of our key priorities, and Potters Court – our latest housing with care scheme – will enable many more residents to do just that when it is completed next spring.

The multi-million-pound development in Maybush includes 83 spacious one and two bedroom, purpose-built flats, with a range of communal facilities on site. Residents will enjoy the freedom and flexibility of living in their own private home with their own front door, but with the option to join in onsite social events and activities if they choose. The new homes are being advertised on Homebid. Anyone interested in applying will need to complete a Housing Register application and have care and support needs.

Download a brochure and take a virtual tour of the show flat online.

Each flat at Potters Court has:

  • Open plan living room
  • Stylish kitchen
  • Modern wet room
  • Full wheelchair accessibility
  • Outside balcony or patio area
  • Door entry system (so you know who your guests are before you let them in)
  • Telecare system to ensure help is only a call away at any time, day or night
  • The option of devices such as fall detectors and door access monitors
  • Energy-efficient heating

In addition, communal facilities at Potters Court include:

  • Restaurant
  • Health and wellbeing suite
  • Communal lounges
  • Laundry facilities
  • IT facilities
  • Wi-fi in communal areas
  • Private communal gardens
  • Off-road parking

Adjacent to Potters Court, a further 15 apartments for over 50s are also under construction at Kiln Court. Residents in Kiln Court will be able to benefit from the facilities and social activities on offer in neighbouring Potters Court.

Potters Court and Kiln Court are just part of our exciting plans to deliver hundreds of new council homes over the coming years. Our £144 million investment programme includes plans for new council homes that will be available for affordable rent, plus shared ownership homes to help more people get onto the property ladder.
