Connect IT Utility Services announced as new official partner for Southampton FC Women

Southampton FC Women have announced Connect IT Utility Services, a growing IT firm that offers multi-utility connections to the building sector, as its newest official partner.

The family-run company has been a long-time regional partner of Southampton Football Club (since 2014) and have strengthened that relationship here, signing a two-year sponsorship agreement to become the back-of-shirt sponsor for the women's team.

Through a connection to the team, Connect IT - who are 'totally committed' to assisting the local women's football community - hope to help promote the women's game throughout the area, draw in new supporters to the club and generally encourage the next generation of women's footballing talent in Hampshire.

Sarah Batters is the Director of Marketing and Partnerships for Southampton Football Club. She says this about the link-up: “Connect IT Utility Services have been a fantastic long-standing regional partner over the last eight years. We are delighted to be entering this next phase with them as they come on board with Southampton FC Women."

“This is an exciting time for the team and for women’s football, following their promotion to the Barclay’s Women’s Championship and we look forward to working together to grow the women’s game.”

Connect MD Peter Leech adds: “Connect IT are delighted to announce our partnership with Southampton FC for the 2022/23 season. In particular, this season we are very excited to now be a kit sponsor of the Women’s team."

“We look forward to working with Southampton FC across the season to help to promote the Women’s game, attract new fans and inspire future talent. Best of luck to all the players and staff for the new season. As part of our sponsorship, we are also offering local schools, charities, and grassroots girls’ football teams complimentary tickets for each home game.”
