Would you benefit from expert advice on business planning, navigating the NHS and avoiding common pitfalls?

If so, Wessex AHSN’s Health Innovation Programme might be for you.

The Health Innovation Programme (HIP) is an immersive and intensive online course for innovators and SMEs starting or building a healthcare business, which will use Strategyzer's Business Model Canvas as a basis for exploring and developing their business plan.

Dates: Mon 14, Tues 15, Fri 18 & Mon 21 March 2022, 09:00 - 18:00

Venue: In person – Ageas Bowl, Botley Road, Southampton SO30 3RS

Having been run successfully for the past six years by SETsquared and the Wessex Academic Health Science Network, the programme aims to help entrepreneurs and innovators who are creating new products and services in the field of health and life sciences.

We are seeking applications from a broad spectrum of healthcare ventures including, but not limited to, those developing:

  • medical devices intended to improve quality of healthcare and reduce costs, hospital admissions and rehabilitation times
  • digital health tech such as apps, websites, wearables and software related to nutrition, fitness & wellbeing, mental health, learning disabilities and telemedicine

We’ve previously supported entrepreneurs developing innovations in fields as broad as: fertility, genomics, orthopaedic regenerative medicine, orthotics, skin health and hearing through to apps to encourage fitness and physical activity, alcohol awareness and to support carers.

Application deadline: The process is competitive and places are limited. Applications close at 9am on Friday 21 January.

Participation in this event is free of charge to delegates and is funded by Wessex AHSN.
