Fire doors

To date, the council has replaced 5,000 flat front doors and around 3,000 communal doors across the city. Over £16 million has been spent on replacing the fire doors.

Remember, your flat entrance door is a fire door

Under the current fire safety regulation, any flat entrance door that opens directly onto a shared or communal area needs to provide fire resistance.

It is essential that all fire doors are in good working order.
