Vehicle removals policy

Powers granted to Local Authorities under the Traffic Management Act 2004, enable the council to remove vehicles that are parked in contravention of parking restrictions as set out in the council’s Vehicle Removals Policy.

Provisions for the removal of vehicles by Southampton City Council are made within the City of Southampton (Removal of Vehicles) Order which took effect on 2 December 2024.
