Bugs and Bits Two

We had a great day in Mansel Park on Tuesday 9 April 2024, for our Bugs and Bits Two

We had a variety of activities including a bug hunt, nature trail, bugs under microscopes, and installation of the bug hotels the Juniors built on Bugs and Bits One.

We asked the Juniors at the start a series of questions about insects and again at the end to see what they learnt.

Thank you to Dawn (Senior Ranger), Nicola from the Community Engagement Team, and the Neighbourhood Wardens for their support with this project. Well done to all the Juniors as well who were great, well behaved, and obviously learnt a lot on the day.
