The Avenue conservation area
The plan was prepared after a period of public consultation between 22 May 2013 and 5 July 2013, including a public meeting on 22 May 2013. The revised document was approved by Cabinet on 19 November 2013. The appraisal includes some changes to the conservation area boundary. Cavendish Grove Area Article 4 Direction. On 22 January 2014, Southampton City Council made an Article 4 Direction on the Cavendish Grove Area (site notice available below). A consultation concerning the Article 4 Direction took place between 24 January 2014 and 7 March 2014. No objections were received. The direction was confirmed and came into force on 20 January 2016.
