Using disabled bays on residential roads
All disabled parking facilities are provided on the basis that any valid Blue Badge holder may use them, as long as they observe the rules of the scheme and the requirements of Southampton City Council. Disabled bays should not be used if the Blue Badge holder is not present at the time that the vehicle is parked.
Users must display their Blue Badge when parking in disabled parking bays. All four wheels must be within the bay area.
Abuse of the scheme may lead to fines of up to £1000.
