Sign up for garden waste collection

Sign ups for 2025-26 garden waste collections are now closed. You will be able to sign up for the 2026-27 service in early 2026.

All subscriptions will automatically end on 31 March 2026, regardless of the date you signed up. If you have a Direct Debit, your subscription will automatically renew next year, and payment will be taken on or just after 1 April 2027.

Please note: We currently have no garden waste bins in stock. If you have already subscribed and are yet to receive your bin it will be delivered as a priority as soon as new stock arrives. Please be aware that this may not be until the end of July.

Cancellations and queries

If you have a query or decide that you no longer wish to subscribe to the service, please contact garden.waste@southampton.gov.uk.

On cancellation, your bin will be collected. Please note, as per the terms and conditions, there are no refunds or part refunds for the cancellation of this service part way through the year.
