If you are an existing foster carer and interested in transferring to the Southampton City Council fostering family then please do contact our team. We are keen to speak to foster carers who are looking to make the change and start a new journey supporting our Southampton children who are most in need, enabling them to stay local in a safe and nurturing home environment.
Why transfer to us?
There are many benefits to fostering with Southampton City Council.
We’ll ensure your transfer is quick and easy, including updating your last Form F assessment to describe your fostering experience and training to date as this is much quicker than undertaking a new assessment. Rest assured if you have a child in placement, we will hold a Protocol Meeting to ensure the placement is not affected.
