There are several easy and convenient ways to pay the council. If you want to make a one-off payment or set-up a Direct Debit for your Council Tax then please visit our council tax payments page.
Paying online is the quickest and easiest way of paying us. You can use your debit or credit card to pay for a range of council services online. Your card must be registered for 3D Secure for the payment to be successful.
You can use our secure e-store to make a quick top-up to your Itchen Bridge account. You can also use the e-store to make payments relating to land charges, leasehold property enquiries or paying a deposit for a shared ownership property. Your card must be registered for 3D Secure for the payment to be successful.

You can make a payment by post.
Please make your cheque payable to ‘Southampton City Council’ and remember to write your invoice number on the back so we can allocate your payment correctly.
