Enjoy the benefits of housing with care

Are you thinking about moving, or are you having to leave your own home because of life changes or health problems?

A move into one of our housing with care complexes could be the answer. Not only does this type of accommodation offer comfort and independence, but you will be safe in the knowledge that support and care is available if and when you need it in the future.

Our housing with care schemes are mostly for people aged 60 and above who require some level of care or support, but some are also available to people aged 55 and above.

Living in a housing with care complex means you have the security and privacy of your own home with your own front door and can benefit from a range of facilities and social activities on site. Plus, you have the reassurance that support and care is available if and when needed.

And as one of our residents explains, it is the on-site support and care which has enabled her to remain living independently: “We moved into housing with care after my husband suffered a stroke at the age of 57. We have a beautiful flat and it is comforting to know that my husband is supported while I am out at work. There is a real community feel and we have made good friends here.”

Living in one of our housing with care complexes offers you benefits such as:

  • A purpose-built, self-contained flat that is easy to maintain
  • A safe and well looked after environment
  • Your own front door – you decide who comes in
  • Individual care package tailored to your needs
  • 24-hour care services available on site if required
  • Help and support to maintain your independence
  • Option to join in on-site social events and activities, or choose to be more private
  • Security of tenure – the aim is a home for life

We have vacancies in some of our housing with care schemes right now, so to find out more, check our frequently asked questions online or contact our Housing Care Coordinators who will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
