The rent proof we require depends on the type of tenancy you have
- Housing Association - Your tenancy agreement, your rent book or a letter from your landlord
- Hostel - Your tenancy or licence agreement your rent book or a letter from the landlord
- Private Tenancy - Your tenancy agreement, your rent book or a letter from the landlord
- Boarder - Your rent book or a letter from your landlord
- Council Tenant - You do not need to provide proof we can obtain details of your rent from our computer system
Rent proof must show the following details
- Your name and address in full
- Your landlord's name and address in full
- Amount of rent
- Frequency of payment
- Amount of any arrears
- Date tenancy commenced
